Cookie Policy
Cookies, And The Lack of Them.
There is no consent banner on this site because there is nothing to consent to. This page lists exactly what gets stored in your browser and what it is for.
In short
Effective 10 August 2026
- No advertising cookies. No analytics cookies. No cross-site tracking. No profiling.
- A security cookie is set when the contact form's bot check runs.
- Three small values are kept in your browser's session storage to stop the site repeating itself.
- Everything listed here can be cleared from your browser at any time.
01
What cookies and site storage are
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep and send back on the next request. Session storage is a related mechanism: values held by your browser for the current tab, sent nowhere, and discarded when the tab closes. Both are described here because both count as storing something on your device.
02
What we do not use
This site carries no advertising network, no analytics suite, no marketing pixels, no social media trackers, and no cross-site identifiers. We do not build visitor profiles, and we do not share browsing behaviour with anyone.
That is also why you are not greeted by a cookie banner: there is no non-essential tracking to opt out of.
03
Strictly necessary cookies
- Bot check (Cloudflare Turnstile)
- When the callback form opens, a bot check loads from Cloudflare and may set a short-lived cookie to record that the challenge was passed. It exists to stop automated abuse of the form. Without it the form cannot be submitted.
- Security and delivery (Cloudflare)
- Our host may set a cookie to distinguish legitimate visitors from malicious traffic and to keep the site available. It carries no advertising identifier.
04
What we keep in session storage
Three values, all held in your browser for the current session only, none of them sent to us:
- contact_popup_shown
- Records that the callback invitation has already appeared, so it does not reopen on every page you visit.
- contact_popup_session_start
- Marks when your visit began, so the invitation is timed from the start of your visit rather than restarting on each page.
- hero_animated
- Records that the home page opening animation has played, so it does not replay each time you return to the home page.
Closing the tab clears all three. If your browser blocks site storage, the site still works — the invitation simply does not auto-open.
05
Third parties you choose to visit
Links on this site lead to WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Google, Canada.ca, and the CICC register. Following one takes you to a service with its own cookies and its own privacy policy, over which we have no control. Nothing about you is passed to them by us; the link is just a link.
Reviews shown on the testimonials page are fetched by our server from Google and rendered as plain text, so no Google tracker is loaded into your browser.
06
Clearing and blocking
Every major browser lets you view, delete, and block cookies and site data, usually under Privacy or Site Settings, and private or incognito windows discard everything at the end of the session. Blocking the bot check's cookie will prevent the contact form from being submitted — call or email us instead and nothing is lost.
We honour Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals by default, in the simplest possible way: there is no tracking here to switch off.

Changes
If we ever add anything that stores more than what is listed above, this page will say so before it goes live, and we will ask for consent where consent is required. Questions: info@theninthhouseimmigration.com.
