Accessibility

Reachable By Everyone Who Needs Us.

People come to an immigration firm at the hardest point of a long process. Nobody should be turned away by a website, a document format, or a language barrier.

In short

Effective 10 August 2026

  • We build to WCAG 2.2 Level AA as our target standard.
  • Every service on this site is also available by phone, by email, and by appointment.
  • Interpretation can be arranged for consultations.
  • Tell us where we fall short and we will fix it — feedback details are below.

01

Our commitment

The Ninth House Immigration Solutions Inc. is committed to making this website and our services usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, magnification, keyboard-only navigation, captions, or assistive input. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, and we treat accessibility as part of building the site rather than as a later pass.

We also work in the spirit of the Accessible British Columbia Act and the Accessible Canada Act: identify barriers, remove them, and give people a way to tell us about the ones we missed.

02

What we have done

  • Semantic HTML structure, so headings, lists, and landmarks make sense to a screen reader.
  • Keyboard access to every interactive element, including the navigation, the callback form, and dialogs, with visible focus.
  • Text and interface colours chosen and checked for contrast against the site's cream and evergreen palette.
  • Text that reflows and remains readable when the page is zoomed or the browser font size is increased.
  • Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, and decorative images hidden from assistive technology.
  • Form fields with persistent visible labels and errors stated in words rather than by colour alone.
  • Full support for the reduced-motion system setting: animation is switched off, not merely slowed, when you ask your device for less of it.
  • Descriptive link text, so links make sense when read out of context.

03

Known limitations

We would rather list these than let you discover them:

  • The contact form's bot check is a third-party component; its behaviour with assistive technology is outside our control. If it blocks you, call or email and we will take your details directly.
  • News summaries and Express Entry figures come from external feeds, and the wording of an upstream headline is not ours to rewrite.
  • Documents published by government or third parties, and linked from here, may not meet the same standard as our own pages.
  • Some decorative typography is deliberately large; if it interferes with your reading, tell us and we will adjust it.

04

Other ways to reach us

Nothing on this site is the only route to a service. You can call +1 (778) 919-0026, email info@theninthhouseimmigration.com, or arrange an appointment at 306 Waddington Dr., Kamloops, BC, V2E 1P8. Consultations are held by phone and video as well as in person.

We can provide information in another format on request — large print, plain text, or read to you over the phone — and we can arrange interpretation for a consultation. There is no charge for asking.

05

Feedback

If you hit a barrier on this site or in dealing with us, tell us: info@theninthhouseimmigration.com, +1 (778) 919-0026, or by mail at 306 Waddington Dr., Kamloops, BC, V2E 1P8. Say what you were trying to do, the page you were on, and the assistive technology or browser you use, if you know it.

Feedback may be given anonymously. We acknowledge feedback within two business days and aim to respond substantively within ten. Accessibility feedback we receive is used to plan what we fix next.

06

If we do not resolve it

If our response does not resolve the barrier, you may raise the matter with the BC Human Rights Tribunal, or — where the concern relates to our conduct as a licensee — with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants, as set out on the Client Rights & Complaints page.
